When 500 lux is needed on tables or desks, in offices, hotels, receptions, houses.
All 16 light points (1 or 3 watt) are directional and can be reversed for indirect lighting.

2000 - POWER-LED'S & ADAPTORS - for lighting
In 2000 we start testing led's (light emitting diode's) for use in lighting fixtures

From 2001 the design of a new range of lighting fixtures with power-led's is started.
INZO & ONZO. They are very compact and thin (8 à 11mm),
and can be mounted on or in a 16 mm thick wood-plate.

A range of current controlled adaptors for power-led's is made.
They are suitable for all AC mains-voltages 110-240 volt / 50-60 Hz
So they can be used worldwide
1996 - VOLTAIRE - interior lighting
Range of wall, ceiling and table lamps, suitable for standard,
halogen or energy saving bulbs, (220 volt -E27 fitting).
1995 - WESTHINDER - buitenverlichting
In 1995 the outdoor range WESTHINDER is created. All models are functional and discrete. The shape will still be up to date in 20 years time. All models and fixations are made of aluminium.They are suitable for all bulb types and voltages, since 2003 also for power-led's. This range of lighting is appreciated by lots of landscape architects that want the lighting fixtures in the garden to be as discrete as possible.
1991 - MIKANO - interior lighting
NIOS started in 1991 with a complete range of interior lighting MIKANO. They where the first to bring a connector on the marked where all different types of lighting fixtures could be mounted on. This is handy when you are building an new house and you don't know yet which furniture that will come in the house. This connector is also suitable for use in shops, offices or in combination with domotic systems.
